Cannibals, noodles, and warmth

Three recommendations.
1. Wanna know how scary Bryn is? Well, he has an icon that he comments with. Looks a little something like this:
And that's his freaking face! That's his honest-to-God actual face. That's what he really looks like! Click on his profile for a close up if you don't believe me.
So when Bryn describes himself as Orble's "resident horrophile", you always gotta wonder if he means "friendly neighbourhood serial killer". And when he's walking down the street and smiles at you, maybe he's thinking about eating your face.
The relish with which he writes of THAT German cannibal provides no consolation, though it does make for interesting reading.
Drop by to find out everything you never wanted to know and which will haunt you the rest of your days about chewy penises.
2. Green warrior Lilla has put a lot of work into writing an overview of the global warming state of play. And you're not going to find anywhere as efficient and accurate a summary.
This is necessary reading.
You might have any number of opinions on global warming. You might deny it outright, or think it's a good thing, or deny that humans caused it, or deny that anything can be done to stop it. Or you might agree with the Copenhagen Consensus that, in terms of a cost-benefit analysis, it's far better to spend money on AIDS, hunger, economic development, and agricultural technologies.
Regardless, you can't blithely ignore the findings that the UN's team of 2500 scientist spent 6 years working on.
3. Finally, drop by Cibby's latest post for a brain-blowing glimpse at what the human body and Japanese gameshows are capable of. As Bart's karate teacher said to Bart, "You can if you think you can". -- Size means nothing; mind is everything.

I'm not really sure who wrote this, or what this post is about, but just wanted to thank you for the mention. Jolly kind of you.
Cheers,

ps I think Bryn's face is lovely btw... (just a feminine point of view for the tally cards, no overtones) ...

Oh Bryn, you are a scary, scary and deeply disturbed Peter Jackson Zombie and your picture chills me to the bone.
Better?
