Gears of War - Computer Games

Alskreek loves to blow things up, I imagine, which is why he's often going on about unusually violent video games.
Who can blame him, though? Who can resist the sweet siren call of a rattling machine gun chamber? The smell of gunpowder and burnt flesh?
He's all up in arms about Gears of War, and from his screencaps, I don't blame him...
"Gears of war, a gritty sci-fi/horror third person shooter, has been available for play at this years E3. I agree with Tycho from Penny Arcade in that this game could very-well be of halo-esque stature, perhaps without the annoying non-endings (hint, Halo 2), and I think this is specifically true due to the fact that the game will have full co-op multiplayer – something which is defiantly the way to go."
The great thing about super-violent video games like this: it's breeding a whole generation of quick-twitch youngsters to fight in the wars of the future.
Hell, if the United Nations of America decide to invade more countries, I suggest that the Australian government send huge mechanical robots, controlled wirelessly by teenagers in Internet cafes... it'd be the most popular war ever!
