Iran captured British soldiers, says Damo
April 3rd 2007 02:48
You're in boat. You're English. You're dreaming about fish and chips, and BAM! you get boarded by Iranians and detained for being in their 'waters'.
Their 'waters'. They have water? Of course, every country with a seaside view has waters, but it makes it sound like a kid in the swimming pool, peeing a yellow cloud around him. And if you accidentally swim in 'his waters', you'll get little-kid-urine all over your skin. And that's disgusting.
Damo has a lot to say about this conflict:
Iran versus Britain in the rhetorical war
The part that freaks me out is that people suspect the Iranians are torturing the soldiers, making them confess. Damn, can't we just stop torturing people for just one second? Here we are, thousands of years into civilization, and we're still shoving bamboo shoots under people's fingernails.
The Americans certainly don't hesitate with the torture, though they make sure that it doesn't leave any marks... hence the infamous waterboarding scheme.
Don't forget, kids - Dick Cheney said waterboarding is not torture... especially if you've got some POWs with good information. It's not torture, it's fun for the whole family!
I think it would make more sense if waterboarding was done' with water taken from the Iranian waters.

It's been well-known for decades that torture only gives false information. Hence, the CIA believing in WDMs.
