Men's Winter Wardrobe - Fashion

June 20th 2006 02:38
Sisi loves her fashion, but sometimes I get the feeling that her Fashion blog is a pretty convenient excuse for her to go shopping - for herself!

She proved me wrong, though, with her post on picking out a great Winter Wardrobe at low, low prices.

What I appreciate most about her post is this:

"You can get nice hooded ones at the moment at this Logo Works website for $28, and some nice reasonably priced ones at Kmart, which happens to be having a 15% off storewide sale until tomorrow!"

For as long as I can remember, I've never heard a woman recommend me to go to K-mart to buy clothes. It's because of that functional, practical advice that Sisi's post rings true.

Pick up a fashion magazine, any one. Try to find someone recommending K-mart. It doesn't happen.

I've had fashion advice given to me before, and it's never a good idea to advise me to go to Hugo Boss when we've split the cost of the meal, I've borrowed $5 from you, and I'm still counting out chump change to cover the rest.

'She a'int goin' for no broke nigga'....true, true Kanye...

Haha thanks Cibby, I should probably clarify that I don't mean go and get your whole wardrobe from Kmart because I think some of their stuff is truly deplorable, but it's so worth it for basic bargain buys. I mean, a hoodie's just a hoodie...if you find the colours/designs boring, you could always get a white one and dye it or paint on it or whatever

ah, good. I knew you wouldn't suggest an entire Kmart wardrobe...

that'd be pretty cheap, though...

actually, no. If you hit the right designer shops on the right sales, you can get really good deals...

yeah designers always have warehouse sales, so you can get samples and seconds REALLY cheap (even cheaper than regular stores)...it really doesn't cost that much to maintain a designer wardrobe
