What are apologists? Well, Wikipedia reckons that, among other things, they're people with specific agenda, which get promoted through deception. They justify the unjustifiable. They deny crimes and whitewash the past.
I'm not sure if this is the sense in which Damo intended the word, but it's the opposite of his blog's content. My Apologetics is one of the few places on Orble where you're going to get intelligent and balanced debate about pressing politico-moral issues.
Damo won't hold back from standing up for a position if he believes in it, but the freakish thing about him is that he's actually willing to change his mind. He doesn't assume that disagreement with his views is mistaken. His every post upholds the value of rationality and discussion -- and is an invitation to converse.
If this sounds serious, well it usually is -- even when it's also light. Check out his latest post where he dons his Sherlock hat, and gives a CSI-worthy demonstration of why an apparent driver's licence is fake.

WIKI sucks if that their description. Another reason why they are unrealiable?
Apologetics is a neutral term which refers to the countering of arguments with legitimante arguments. Have a look at some of Mind Orgasms posts on Sunday. He happily take takes on the role for Catholic apologetics.
