Top 10 Villains - Old Movies
October 18th 2006 04:03
Luke is a devious bastard of a bastard. He started off with his site, Old Movies, just reviewing old classic, but slowly, he's migrated to movies from all over the spectrum.
You'll get the idea that he watches a lot of films, and why not? What else is happening in Penrith?
I've never been to Penrith, but I heard that there's a big mall at the train station. I've gone past it on the way to the Blue Mountains, and I think I heard the tires squeal of an old Ford Falcon.
Luke's latest money-grabbing post is Top 10 Villains, a list of his favourites:
"Villains are almost always the most interesting thing in a good movie. The good guy, well, he's good - sometimes there's not much you can do with that unless he's flawed in some way. But the villain... well, you've got a whole range of fucked up and evil stuff you can explore. They always say it's more fun to play a villain."
My favourite villain is Luke himself. He used to be a lieutenant in Her Majesty's Victorian army, but when the Triffids struck, he bolted to Africa and shot lions with Quartermain.
He was rumoured to have been killed by Sherlock Holmes ontop of a waterfall outside of London, but we've seen him and his diabolical take-over-the-world plots time and time again.
He has a cat, which he pets.
We never see his face.
He has an escape rocket in his island headquarters.

Hey Cibbuano, did you realise this has posted twice? I looked in the Orble list and found it twice in a row, and the same has happened in the blog.
You've been thinking about those well equipped sharks again haven't you....!

And yes, I am indeed a villain.
I never intended for my film blog to be just old movies, I originally wanted to call it 'classic movies' but Jon though 'old movies' would be more searchable for people googling and such. Fair enough I guess! Whatever gets the hits! Hits! Hits! I sound like a junkie!

Yes, I've heard the 2 penises thing on sharks as well.
It just wouldn't work with human guys - all that blood concentrated in one area - they'd all fall over in a dead faint all the time - there's precious enough of the mahogany amber flowing through their skulls as is when one penis is draining it all, just imagine the trouble 2 could cause.
Getting back to the actual thread point - I had noticed that myself - sneakily blending in the old movies with the bad, but then I figured it was something like that - I ended up with a bit of a different name from my originally propsed blog as well, ending up taking over the account of one that had previously lapsed.
"hits! Hits! Hits!"
Surely we should we be checking Luke's arm for trackmarks just in case? ; )
