Works, in Theory - Joey, Honey
July 11th 2006 01:46
This is, honestly, one of the best blog posts that I've read in a long, long time.
It's a soft, meandering anecdote of postal incompetence and Asian lust. It's not the subject that's compelling so much as the mood of the piece. It starts with light stings and an insistent cello.
By the time the percussion comes in, you're rocking back in forth in your seat.
It's also worth noting that, when Joey's not musing about federal services, he's composing music. What kind? By his own words, 'Blippy beepy junk'. Here's one of his latest tracks.
