Wrinkles on display - FunFacts

Sheer gold.

A beauty pageant in Iceland is going to reward contestants with wrinkles and saggy breasts, as found by Melissa on FunFacts.com.au.

It's not off the ground yet, but I'm all for it. Let 'em hang out and shake loose. Challenge the airbrushed ideas of glamour that pervade and invade our Western magazines.

Of course, what if the idea of beauty took a 180 turn? Wrinkles and saggy breasts demanded by fashion labels and photographers? Would the fantasies of men change to reflect this? Who knows the impact this could have. Monumental? Maybe.


Imagine that world. Your teenage son, you catch him with a used copy of a senior's nudist colony guide... he's sheepishly embarrassed, and you feel disappointed. You buy him a Playboy, but it sits there, glossy and unread.
